Strawberry and White Chocolate Milkshake

This is part of Blog Party #16: Take Out hosted by Stephanie of Dispensing Happiness.

Milkshakes shouldn't be full of artificial colours and flavours and strawberry milkshakes are usually the worse examples of that. In this version I've used fresh strawberries and a little melted white chocolate to make an extra special version of an old childhood favourite. I especially like the little speckles of strawberry that run through the milkshake.

  1. Oh, I love home-made strawberry milkshakes - the white chocolate is a good idea for when I want a slightly more indulgent treat!

  3. I've never made milkshakes with white chocolate, but it would be great with strawberries.

  4. Hi Ellie - I'll take any reason to add a bit of white chocolate to things - it does add a nice creaminess to the final product

Hi Patricia - they are two items that work so well together.

Hi Brilynn - the white chocolate seems to give a bit of depth to the milkshake, it has a nicer mouth feel.
